AL90 36 T.S. King Oscar II,
1873 - 1907 Painted

£79.00

SKU: TS-AL90-36-P

Description

AL90 36 T.S. King Oscar II, 1873 - 1907 Painted

Born 17 juni 1682, King 1697-1718, Date of Death 30 November 1718

When Karl's father, Karl XI, died in 1697, young Karl was only 14 years old. Because of his young age Karl was not pronounced King at that time, and a temporary government was formed to control Sweden. A year later when Karl XII was just 15 years old he had proven the people wrong, and he was pronounced King of Sweden. At this time Sweden was the most powerful kingdom in Europe. This included what we today know as Sweden, Finland, The Baltic states, a part of Russia called Karelia, part of Norway, and Courland which is located in northern Germany.

All the figures are made from white metal and are available as unpainted kit, castings all with painting instructions and colour photo, they can also be supplied fully hand painted in matt.

Diorama builders and wargamers should check out Tradition Scandinavia’s unpainted 25 and 30-mm figures. They cover a broad swath of history with common soldiers and lofty personalities like France’s Napoleon Bonaparte.

The 30-mm figures are noteworthy for featuring designs by the likes of Charles C. Stadden (Andrew’s father), Clive Knight, Holger Eriksson and David Scheinmann.

In addition, Tradition Scandinavia has been producing the Willie line of 30-mm figures since buying the business from Edward Suren in 1985.
